A grant for help with ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems accreditation costs

Is your environmentally friendly SME looking for financial support to get accredited with ISO 14001? Or with promoting your product, process or service? Do you need to unlock the potential to increase profit, productivity and efficiency? Would you like more opportunities to open new markets and attract new customers? A current grant from Grants for Eco Innovation has recently been updated and may benefit your environmentally friendly company with additional networks of like-minded companies and other funding and business support.

14001, ISO

How do I qualify for the Eco Innovation grant funding?

To qualify for the grant to enhance your organisation’s environmental management capabilities you must have a prototype developed and tested for a product, service or business system that results in a reduction of waste, water and energy efficiency or CO2 and that is ready for the market.

Your new businesses can qualify for the grant also, with a detailed business plan alongside your prototype.

Companies must be based in the South East of England – Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes, Hampshire and Isle of Wight, Kent and Medway, Oxfordshire, Surrey or Sussex

How much could I claim and how quickly?

The minimum grant value is £1,000. To receive the minimum grant, the total project value must be £3,223. For the full grant of £3000, the business must spend at least £9,667 or more. Depending on how quickly you can get the paperwork returned to us, assuming the details are clear, we aim to inform you of the outcome within 10 working days. After approval by the Project Manager, payment can be made within 15 days. Any VAT paid on eligible purchases qualifies for the grant, only if your company is not registered for VAT. If however your company is VAT registered then the VAT cannot be reimbursed. To check how much you could claim, use this claim calculator.

How does this make Environmental Management Systems accreditation easier for my company?
